har precis kastat in 2 gig ram till i min burk så nu är det totalt 4 i den, men i windows så står det att det bara är 2 gig, (i startup innan windows så står det at det finns 4) är det för att home edition bara totalt kan ha 2? har nämligen starkt för mig att det skulle klara 3 gig.
Hur mycket ram till XP home Edition SP3?

Har väldigt lite med att göra om det är Home eller Professional utan snarare om det är 32 eller 64bit OS, och grafikkort t.ex.
Jag skulle föreslå att du kickar igång /3GB /userva=2900 i din boot.ini för att se om det hjälper.

Och som jag försökte poängtera i mitt första inlägg. Det är mer till saken än enbart 32 eller 64. Har du två feta 1GB grafikkort i SLI så snor det 2GB av dina 4 ...
